The paradox of You vs. You is said all the time, but do you really understand it? Think of it this way: what’s keeping you from seeing the real you? What excuses are you making that are preventing you from living to your fullest potential? What reasons are you using to quit on your dreams? You see it’s easy to point blame of your failures and shortcomings on him, or her, or anybody. The hardest part of growing is admitting your own faults and admitting your own defects to yourself. The old saying “if it were easy, everyone would do it” never rang truer. That’s why we have people who are content with being average, and people who are hungry in their pursuit of a phenomenal life. It’s easy to be average – no talent or skill is required. But if you are active in your hunt to living a phenomenal life, you have to come to the realization that it is going to be hard. There is nothing easy about being successful in achieving your goals. Nothing is going to be handed to you in pursuing your dreams. If you want it bad enough, then you have to work day and night to get it. If you want it bad enough, then you need to remove those mental barriers in your mind that are preventing you from getting there. If you want it bad enough, then you need to stop making excuses as to why you can’t go do it. Only you can stop you; don’t be the reason you didn’t realize your dreams.
